Beauty is in the right eye of this beholder

Thanks to a bout of Optic Neuritis three years ago, I have permanent damage in the Optic Nerve of my left eye. I get frequent headaches, blurry vision when stressed, and most interesting, I see two different saturations out of each eye. My right eye sees more bright and vivid colors, and my left (the ones that's damaged) sees more muted colors. It's a fun game to close each eye and try to guess what the "real" color is of whatever I'm looking at, especially when looking at a beautiful sunset or my new hair color after going to the salon.

I think that's one of the most interesting things about MS. Even after having this disease for three years, I still find myself learning new things about my body and lasting effects from my first relapse. These findings are often super depressing, so it's nice to reflect on something that isn't horrifically sad, just mildly interesting.
